A Metairie man was arrested twice during the weekend for allegedly running around a motel parking lot partially nude on Saturday, then forcing his way into a neighbor's apartment the next day, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
Jefferson Parish deputy sheriff Brett Zikmund was dispatched to the Shoney's Inn, 2421 Clearview Parkway at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday after receiving an anonymous complaint of a naked man running around the parking lot, according to an incident report.
Zikmund arrived and spotted a man in the lot wearing just a red T-shirt and nothing else. At the sight of the deputy, the man climbed into a dumpster, the report said.
Zikmund managed to fish the man, later identified as Dennis Bryant, 23, out of the dumpster, noting that he smelled of alcohol and had trouble standing upright, the incident report said. Bryant admitted that he had been drinking.
